Hello there.  Welcome to my site.  My name is Jessica Jordano and I am a sophomore at George Washington University majoring in Journalism with a minor in Economics.  Since I took my first creative writing class in sixth grade, I have always had a passion for reading and writing.  I have always been inspired by the power of words, and how words written on a page can bring you to a new world.

My philosophy in my career and beyond is I want to experience everything this world has to offer, constantly absorbing and learning along the way.  As a journalist, I will be able to participate in the vivacious, adventurous, chaotically beautiful world around me.  Each day is an opportunity to learn, whether it be about myself or the world around me.  I thrive in new environments because I know those are the places that I learn the most.  Reporting on the latest news, interacting with new people every day, and absorbing every inch of the diverse world around me is my dream.
