SKILLS: Features and News Writing

Odyssey is an online social platform for millennials to share their unique stories and perspectives with the world.  

 

Some of my most popular stories include moving on from hardships, the reality of millennial homelessness, dealing with unbalanced friendships, and the undeniable presence of social media in our every day lives.

 

Through Odyssey, I have learned about a variety of writing styles including lifestyle, news, and trend stories, developing my writing skills in a variety of genres.  Also, this platform is an opportunity to not only share my perspective with the world, but also to embrace it.  I realized that words have power, and if I just help one reader through my writing, I would have done what I set out to do.
