SKILLS: News Writing and Reporting, Web Design

I interned with the internal communications department at Harris Corporation, an engineering company for mission-critical technologies of about 20,000 employees.  I reported on the latests innovations, wrote concise news articles, and generated ideas for our internal website design.

My favorite part of this internship was reporting on the latest innovations our company has to offer.  Writing about cybersecurity, mission-critical communication systems, and up-and-coming technologies was a way that I could learn not only about journalism, but also about a completely different field.
